The first and most important part of training your dog is going to be obedience training. This is because doing basic obedience training is the best way to create a relationship with your dog. Puppies, as well as older dogs, come with a lot of things. A lot of smiles for you, tail wagging, and slobbery kisses, true. They also come with either a lack of training altogether, or training that needs to be changed. Depending on how old your dog is when you get him, you’re going to have to do a lot of work in training him to be the perfect dog for you, as well as for your life.

It’s tough to live your life with an untrained dog, so training is very important.
